About Jjango.
This WheelChair?
It’s my latest hot rod (Sigh). This is a far cry from the screaming formula cars I used to have fun with, but at least I get around. It wasn’t always like this.
Such is what happens being at the wrong place at the wrong time. When war comes to a land and you stick yourself in there to get the helpless civilians out. Sometimes almost no one leaves. Sometimes you leave with the scars to show for it. And sometimes, you’re lucky enough to still carry a name they give you “Jjango”.
Love This tune from Stanley Myers “Cavatina” or the theme from The Deer Hunter.
Hi, they call me Jjango.
A long time ago I was in my prime and this name was given to me because I was a Hunter. The guy that goes out into the wildest jungles and brings home food – fruits, fish or sometimes small animals. Once in a while I will bring home something much larger and sinister. A crocodile is not unusual nor is a wild boar or deer.
The skills my grandfather taught me was put to strategicaly serious use in the military and my marksman and special status prevailed. Ironically, they called me – Jjango! When I go hunting, I get my man (relax, I bring them back alive).
I can no longer practice the Zen type of a garden builder’s lifestyle. I can no longer rough it up in the wilds. Not unless I can swing in the trees like the Orang Hutans of Indonesia. While I still feel human, I can’t. Garden designs in the Feng Shui style was my hobby and lifelihood. But no more.
Today, the use of the internet intrigues me. Hence I am profiling special people in the Internet Community.
Why? The internet is a frontier in business and these IM pioneers are really heroes in their own way.
If you find them, and know of a good story, be my guest and help me write about them….
